WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The Level 2 Award in Mental Health First Aid is appropriate for any and all individuals in a business who want to either build or maintain a healthy working culture, as well as in their personal life. This course builds on the knowledge gained in the three-hour Level 1 Award in Mental Health First Aid. It's worth noting that you don't need to do a Mental Health First Aid course before taking this one.
The topic of mental health has seen a substantial growth, and rightly so. In recent years and arguably right now it has been a taboo topic, but when it comes to family, friends, and colleagues there is nothing taboo about it. One of the main objectives of this course is to help identify people who may be suffering with it and how to help people through a better understanding of the topic. CERTIFICATION AND ASSESSMENT
There will be a range of teaching methods used to ensure that you have gained the knowledge and awareness to increase awareness of Mental Health, this includes real-life scenario examples, videos and group activities. This course can be conducted online via Zoom, or face-to-face with one of our Mental Health and Wellbeing trainers.There will be a multiple choice question paper at the end of this 1-day course.
After successfully completing this course, each delegate will recieve a certificate to show they have attended the Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health course. Certificates are valid for three years and by default, certificates are accredited by the First Aid Awards (FAA).
