The Award in Mental Health First Aid Understanding course is ideal for anybody who wants to improve their knowledge and awareness of mental health for themselves and others, such as coworkers and friends.

Mental health has gotten a lot of attention lately, and rightfully so. It has been a taboo issue in recent years, and maybe it is now, but there is nothing taboo about it when it comes to family, friends, and collegues. One of the primary goals of this course is to assist identify people who may be affected by it and to teach people how to aid them by gaining a better grasp of the subject. CPR isn't the only option for saving a life...

CERTIFICATION AND ASSESSMENT

Teaching techniques will include real-life scenario examples, movies, and group activities to ensure that you have gained the information and understanding necessary to promote mental health awareness. This course is available both online and in person with one of our Mental Health and Wellbeing educators. A multiple-choice test will be given at the end of the course.

Each delegate will get a certificate showing that they have successfully completed the Award in Mental Health First Aid course. Certificates are good for three years and are automatically certified by the First Aid Awards (FAA).
